Server unresponsive

The server has become unresponsive currently and we are in the process of rebooting it. There will be a file system check run during reboot which may cause the server to take a while to restart.

Due to the length of time the file system check is taking I have a tech at the DC who will check on the servers progress. I will update you further shortly.

Our tech at the DC has reported that the server required a manual file system check to resolve any further errors. We are running this currently.

Just to keep you updated the manual file system check is still running. These can take a while on large drives with numerous files such as a web server.

The File system check is now complete and the server is up and running. The system check found a number of file system errors that were fixed during the check.
