As some of you may have seen there have been some unusual load issues and PHP script lockups in the past week, which we believe are being caused by the current Apache / PHP configuration
To resolve this all cPanel servers will be having Apache and PHP rebuilt. The new apache version will be version 2.2.14 and PHP will be version 5.2.11
As a result of the upgrade, anyone who is running old PHP scripts, with a local php.ini file may find their sites get a 500 Internal server error after the upgrade.
If you find your site is doing this please check the scripts on your site and upgrade them to the latest version, and remove any local php.ini files and this will resolve the issue
Any clients who have Register Globals enabled on a local php.ini file please lodge a ticket at the help desk and we will replace the current ini file with a new working version.
If anyone has any queries relating to this update please post your queries in this discussion
