Server Outage

The server has just become unresponsive. We are reviewing it currently and will update shortly.

We have a hands on tech reviewing the server currently as a reboot has not resolved the issue.

We are currently getting as check disk scan and a windows 2008 system repair on the server.

This will take some time to complete

We have been running drive scans and memory scans on the server. A memory scan has tested an issue with the ram in the server. We are currently organizing replacement ram currently.

We are currently preparing some replacement hardware at the same time as completing low level diagnostics on the servers hardware to determine the fault

We have had the server back up in safe mode but we believe one or more of the ram modules is to blame, so its a process of elimination

as soon as we have more information we will update everyone

We have swapped the drive out of the server into a spare dell 850 server and the server is now online and running

The current hardware is of a lower spec to the existing hardware and will be a temporary measure while we wait for Dell to look at the hardware failure
