As previously announced in http://www.alpineforums.net/showthread.php?t=857 the Falls Creek server is scheduled for re-assignment of its IP's on Friday 21st November at 10pm AEST (Brisbane time)

The new server IP will be 115.178.17.127

All general hosting clients sites that are currently hosted on this server will be switched to this IP range

Clients with dedicated IP's and resellers will be assigned IP's from this new range however a seperate email outlining their IP's will be sent this evening to the affected clients and resellers.

During the upgrade there may be up to 30 minutes downtime on the server while the IP's are re-assigned and the network interface is reloaded with the new IP's

Some ISP's and some clients own modems and routers may cache the IP results so sites may not be accessible for a few hours from some locations.

It is imperative for any clients or resellers with clients who use remote dns services to update their dns entries to reflect the new IP's as the old IP addresses will cease to work immediately.

If anyone has any queries or problems please let us know.
