We are pleased to announce that we will now start progressively upgrading all shared cPanel servers with full support for Apache 2.2, FastCGI, Ruby on Rails, Webdev with suPHP support.
This upgrade is a major enhancement to the services and may cause some small update issues for some clients sites.
The main issues will be relating to the change from phpsuexec to suPHP security for PHP
Scripts currently set to 444 such as configure files in osCommerce will need to be set back to 644 but generally most scripts are un-affected.
We will be opening a discussion in each servers announcement forum with the specific details on when your server will be upgraded to the new configuration.
