An issue with PHP sessions has been identified and so i am currently rebuilding php and apache to correct the problem

This process will take around 20 minutes to complete and there may be some brief interruptions during this time

sorry for any inconvenience caused

Hi Steve - thanks for all the help.

Any idea when it might be all complete so that I can reassure the clients who I'm fielding phone calls from this morning?

Thanks in advance.

Im hoping we can have it wrapped up in the next 10 minutes or so, but apache is being stubborn so we may have to do a further rebuild yet

All sorted

PHP is now responding correctly and anyone experiencing sessions issues previously should have no further issues

We have identified a very strange issue on the server that no one has seen before, so we have CPanel's own developers and techs working on the problem currently.

I am waiting on an update from them on this issue, bit at this point i dont have an ETA for a resolution to the issue

I apologise for the delay in getting this resolved

we have had cpanel working on this all night and the server is currently recompiling apache again currently

We will be immediately upgrading the server to apache 2.2 and php 5.2.4 to workaround the issue

I believe we should have everything resolved shortly

I apologise for the length of time its taken to get the apache back up and running but each time it refused to compile properly and after having cpanels own techs and developers work on the server i went back into it again myself this afternoon and have completely rebuilt it from the ground up

Apache is now back online and working correctly however there are still some php include functions that we are still working thru

Once again i do apologise for the delay in getting this resolved
