The server is indeed having problems still.

These problems are not caused by Ram or cpu loads, as some may assume.

The problem stems from the Plesk upgrade to version 8.2 which has broken more that it actually fixed sadly, and we have seen a lot of reports of similar issues on the Plesk forums.

The issue is being caused by Plesk causing a lot of Page faults in IIs.

We have brought in contracted Plesk techs to work on the server and they have been progressively work on the server over the past few days.

Some of you probably noticed an improvement yesterday in regards to page load times, however this did not hold for very long before the issue re-occured.,

The techs are continuing to work on the problem and as we have more info i will update everyone here in the forums

We are running a virus scanner on the server currently as part of the process of working out these issues

This process will take a couple of hours

Mail Enable has been rebuilt to correct the POP issues occuring a short time ago

The IIs page faults are however still occuring and we are still trying to work thru these problems

we are arranging some additional ram for the server and we believe we now have the situation under control after the suspension of some resource hungry websites on the server.

The ram will be added to the server around 7:30pm tonight

I will post more details at this time

We believed late last night (around 2am) that we had the issue resolved as page File loads stabilised after the suspension of a couple of resource hog sites and some further tweaks to the system, but unfortunately its proven to have failed.

We have specialist Plesk admins working on this issue, but at this stage even they are having difficulty getting a grip on the issue

I do apologise for the delay in getting this resolved, but please rest assured we are working around the clock to get this sorted.

I also ask that clients please do not open new tickets in the helpdesk about the issue as it only servers to slow us down in resolving the issue, while we respond to all the tickets.

we will update everyone in the forums as we have info.

Plesk has now been completely rebuilt, IIs has also been completely rebuilt from scratch and a MailEnable hotfix has been applied to correct an issue with their last update

Most sites currently appear to be responding correctly, however we are progressively testing them all to ensure any remaining issues are dealt with

Tonight at 7:30 we will be taking the server offline for a brief period to install another Gb of ram to it which will help address any remaining page file issues

We are continuing to monitor the server to ensure there are no further issues

Plesk itself is offline currently while the techs do some more reconfiguration but eveything else is running normally.

There is an issue between Front Page extensions, Isapi and the site preview functions that are conflicting with each other.
