Is the server Linux or Win based? Also, what scripts are you able to host? Perl, PHP, ASP, CGI...

Do you have CDont's Mail available on the servers?

Can I re-route a domain name to the dynamic IP of my own computer @ home?

Is Telnet access available?

Is FTP access available?

What is your server backup procedure?

What is your server uptime guarantee?

What is your policy on site content?

Are site usage / stats logged, and how can I access these logs?

Is SSL enabled?

I think that's enough questions 4 now ;)

Hello thankyou for your questions, i will answer them all individually:

Is the server Linux or Win based? Also, what scripts are you able to host? Perl, PHP, ASP, CGI...

Our general and reseller hosting servers are Dual 3Ghz Intel servers with 1Gb of ram on 100Mb connections. We support most scripting languages except ASP

Do you have CDont's Mail available on the servers?

No we do not offer this as this script is ASP based.

Can I re-route a domain name to the dynamic IP of my own computer @ home?

Yes you can route any domain name to a dynamic IP, however we don not offer this service ourselves. There are numerous Dynamic DNS products available on the internet

Is Telnet access available?

No we do not offer Telnet access for security reasons

Is FTP access available?

Yes we offer both anonymous and secure FTP

What is your server backup procedure?

We backup all server data on a nightly basis, however we also advise all customers to make their own local backups as we are not responsible for any loss of data.

What is your server uptime guarantee?

We offer a 99.9% network uptime.

What is your policy on site content?

We have strict guidelines on content. See out Acceptable Use Policy for details (http://www.alpinehosting.net/aup.php)

Are site usage / stats logged, and how can I access these logs?

We offer AWStats, a graphical stats package, long with access to raw logs, both of which are available thru the accounts Control Panel

Is SSL enabled?

We dont offer a server wide SSL as this is very unprofessional looking for most users, however we offer private discounted SSL certificates starting at $30US per year.
