Forum Upgrade

Over this upcoming weekend (27-28th May) we wll be replacing the current forums software with vBulletin 3

The new forums will run faster and smoother than the current forum and will allow for new functionality including the all important ability to subscribe to the server announcement forums, somethign whihc has been unavailable for a period due to issues within the current script.

While we dont envisage any issues with the switch over to the new software. At this stage we believe Posts, user data and the whole forum structure can be moved without any issues, however there may be some data that will not be able to be migrated across to the new software

The Forum Upgrade is now complete.

I ask everyone to login to the forums and check to ensure their accounts are active.

All users will need to Click on the http://www.alpineforums.net/usercp.php link to configure their accounts to suit their needs. Things like time zones, email notifications, forum viewing preferences can all be set.

Users can now also subscribe to their particular servers Announcement Forum to be kept upto date of all issues, upgrades etc. Click on the Forum Tools link in your servers Forum to subscribe.
