View Full Version : Email forwarding

Hi,

I've got a niggling query about cpanel's mail forwarding. I've told member of my site that i am able to forward mails from their email accounts to an email address they check regularly.

I've set this up for several of us, and I can test my own forward up by simply sending mail and successfully getting it back. BUT, i've noticed the emails that i'm recieving from my ebay account are simply not being forwarded on, and are being left in my website account.

Is there any reason why cpanel would be selectively forwarding some mail and not others? So far the only forwarded mail i've recieved is that which i've sent from my own hotmail account. Any insite would be a big help.

Check to make sure that emails arent being marked as spam by spam assassin as they wont forward on.

Are the email addresses that you are forwarding setup as POP mail accounts in CPanel? if so this will fail.

You can either have all the mail for a specific address be delivered to the POP account setup for it in your account or have allmail forwarded to a remote address.

Drop in a ticket to the Helpdesk with an example of an email address where its not working and we can check it out for you.

Also make sure you join the forums :) so you can be kept uptodate with everythign happening :)
