The Datacentre is currently upgrading their core routing equipement with high-capacity Cisco routing equipment that features dual redundancy,
and real-time failover in the event of a link outage. This upgrade will replace the existing core routing equipment,
with the main aim being to increase the stability and reliabilty of the datacentre's network.
The next stage in this upgrade will be taking place from 2AM Saturday morning 16 April 2005 QLD time, and will continue until 6:00AM Saturday Morning 16 April QLD Time.
We expect there to be a 15 minute outage while they replace the last of the remaining core equipment.
Testing will continue until 6AM.
We will post an annoucement once all upgrades are complete, and any further work, if necessary, will be done at a time to minimize disruption.
If you have any questions or concerns, please lodge a support ticket at the helpdesk.
