I have been using Autopilot for a little while now, and with the great work by Steve introducing Paymate, and Paypal accepted in Australian dollars have decided to push the Web hosting business a bit more.

Since initiating the Paypal option I have already had a couple of dodgy orders and now realize how little I know about the world of fraud online.

And now this evening I have had somebody trying to access the admin panel, fortunately without luck.

I am wondering what the best procedures are to protect yourself, and to respond to bad orders and hacking attempts?

Hi Dave

If we know an order is dodgy we just delete it. If we suspect it may be we generally wait to see if payment is made and whether the CC processor accepts it

With Paymate we have found their fraud verification to be very effective

With regards to the attempted hacking best thing is to put a ticket in so we can have a look at it for you

Hi Steve,
I just checked the WHM website and it seems a newer version is available with a lot more features. Are there any plans of rolling this out. Here's a link to the demo of the new WHM

Hi Sandeep

Reason I didn't reply at the time was we were having discussions about whether we would continue with WHM AP or not

We have now decided to move everything across to Client Exec to provide consistency with our other businesses and you should have received an email to this effect by now
